History

Russell Brothers Builders were established in 1968 by Edward Russell and his eldest son Joe, with George joining the company the following year.

Initially Russell Bros. Builders were involved in private sector housing developments within the Craigavon area but over a period of a few years expanded into industrial/commercial sector where the Company remains today.

In the early 1970s the company was responsible for introducing Butler Building Systems into the Province. The Lindab Butler bespoke building system is still popular today but Russell Bros. Builders have subsequently diversified and also offer alternative building solutions. George Russell confirms:

Each project is analysed at an early stage in development and the appropriate building solution is designed to.

Russell Bros. Builders have seen a sustained and steady growth over the last 50 years, a principal that is core to their ethos. The Directors note that: Joe and George felt strongly that the customer service was number one priority and as such a steady sustained growth means the company remains focused on that priority and will not sacrifice quality for quantity.

In the early 1990s Joe retired from the Company and at this time George became Managing Director. The majority of the Directors have been with RBB for over 25 years with Douglas joining the Company in 2000. The labour force also remains loyal to Russell Bros. Builders with a very low turn over in staff. Again George notes:

If client is our number one priority then our number one asset is staff, without a committed and stable foundation of workforce we would not be able to provide the level of service we strive to achieve, we feel strongly that Russell Bros. Builders are a family Company.

Russell Bros. Builders remained committed to attaining client satisfaction, building quality and enhancing team spirit.
